BORDEAUX, FRANCE.
Since 1991, Château Mouton Rothschild signed the first bottles of its dry white wine, Aile d’Argent. Successful bet! The wine is sumptuous! The floral notes are deliciously mixed with citrus notes such as peach and lemon. The mineral notes are very present and give all its charm to this white wine from Château Mouton Rothschild. The dosage of the new oak is just right. Fleshy, wonderfully balanced with crisp acidity, Aile d’Argent from Château Mouton Rothschild will keep for 5 to 10 years.
Its sandy-gravel terroir is planted with Sauvignon Blanc (53%), Sémillon (35%), Sauvignon Gris (11%) and Muscadelle (1%), with a density of 9,000 feet per hectare. The wine is aged for 50% in new oak barrels.
