Chateau d’Armailhac (达玛雅克庄园)

A Classified Growth in the Pauillac appellation, Château d’Armailhac is adjacent to Château Mouton Rothschild on the north and east sides. It has 73 hectares (180 acres) of vines with an average age of 46 years. The deep, light gravel soil is planted with traditional Médoc varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon (54%), Merlot (35%), Cabernet Franc (9%) and Petit Verdot (2%). The grapes are hand-picked and 45% of the wine is matured in new oak barrels. 2019 will be the last vintage made in the existing vat house: a major project to rebuild the winery is under way in order to give Château d’Armailhac vinification and cellaring facilities in keeping with its exceptional terroir.
